What’s the earliest age a dancer can start?
Our Mommy and Me Class is for children 18 months until 35 months. At 3 years old, students can then join our introductory dance class, Tots N’ Tutus class.
How do I know which class to enroll my child in?
Please see the recommendations that were emailed out for your dancer. If you are new the family, once you complete your trial, we will recommend you for a specific class.
How long is a session?
We offer a 11 month season, running from September-July. We also offer 6- 8-week introductory classes, camps, and workshops sometimes called Mini Mesters.
How do I register my child for a class?
Registration for new dancers and returning students can be completed via our parent portal online.
How do I pay my tuition?
Monthly tuition is automatically withdrawn on the 25th of every month (August-July) from the bank account on file. Every family is required to have a card on file. However, you may opt out of automatic payments by submitting payment for the entire semester/year at the time of registration.
How much are classes?
Our Tuition varies based on if your dancer is recreational or competitive. Please email us at info@brisdanceplace.com for our current rates.
Are there any other expenses outside of tuition?
There is a required class uniform, an annual membership fee, costume fee, photography fee, and recital fee. More information on these fees can be found on our parent information page.
What should my dancer wear to class?
Our dress code ensures that students receive the best possible instruction, minimize injury, increase focus, and develop a strong sense of self-confidence and studio unity. All students should have hair secured in a neat bun or ponytail with No Beads, No Barrettes, No Bonnets, and No Balls. More information about our dress code can be found here.
Where can I purchase dancewear?
Everything your dancer needs for class must be purchased from our dance wear website, after your dancer has been color matched and sized.
Can my dancer try out a class before enrolling?
Yes, we offer a complimentary trial. Please contact us to arrange your class or learn more about FREE DANCE WEEK.
Can my dancer take more than one class?
Of course! If they really love to perform and compete, they audition for our competitive program or even join our Musical Theatre class, in addition to their regular classes.
I missed Registration Day in August, can I still enroll?
Yes, we accept new dancers on a rolling basis.
Can I observe dance class each week?
Yes, from our parent’s waiting room which is equipped with television and cameras in each dance room.
Do I have to stay while my child is in class?
If you child is 2-6 years old, Yes we require you stay to assist with any bathroom responsibilities. For all other ages, you can drop off and pick up at the conclusion of class or feel free to wait in our waiting area. However, students must be picked up at the end of their class or a late fee will be charged. We want to ensure every dancer’s safety. There is absolutely NO LOITERING outside the building.
My dancer is older and has no dance experience, are there classes for him/her?
We have classes for students of all ages, stages, and ability levels. Please contact us so we can help identify where the best place to start is.
Do you offer classes for boys?
We offer Bri’s Boys, which is a Boys Only class.
Do you offer classes for adults?
For adults, we offer Adult Jazz, Dance N’ Fit, and Bri’s Bump, Baby N’ Dance Class (new and expectant parents). Dance is a great way to learn musicality, coordination, balance and social skills at any age. We know adult life comes with many responsibilities and changing schedules which may not allow you to attend a regular class which is why our adult classes are offered on a drop-in basis as well as monthly enrollment.
Do you provide transportation?
Currently, we do not, but plan to in the near future.
